2015 - Logo competition
The
Anniversary logo competition prize presentation ceremony was held on 26th May 2016 in the LG1 lecture theatre of Ruttonjee Hospital. Dr Loletta So, President of Hong Kong Thoracic Society, Dr Cheuk-yin Tam, Chairman of Hong Kong Lung Foundation, Dr David Lam, President of CHEST Delegation Hong Kong and Macau and Dr Hoi-nam Tse, convener of the contest jointly officiated the ceremony.
The final Anniversary logo was adapted from Dr Joseph Pang’s logo design.

To celebrate the 20th/30th anniversary with all members, the Hong Kong Lung Foundation (HKLF) and the Hong Kong Thoracic Society (HKTS), together with CHEST Delegation Hong Kong and Macau would like to announce the opening of a logo design competition to all their members.
All members of HKTS, CHEST Delegation HK & Macau and HKLF are welcome to join the competition. Each participant can submit up to 3 logos, either hand-drawn or electronic format (JPEG, PDF and PNG). The logo should reflect our works over the past decades in our specialty and within the community, and also the collaboration and harmony between HKLF & HKTS.
It should also display innovative and modern designs with clear shapes and colour. The size of the logo is restricted to A3 (420 mm x 297 mm). Each individual electronic logo submitted must be at least 3 MB but not larger than 5 MB in size.
Deadline of submission is 31 August 2015 (Monday). The electronic format logo should be sent to
anniversarylogo@gmail.com on or before
5:00pm (Hong Kong time), and the hand-drawn logo to “
Dr. Hoi-Nam Tse at Department of Medicine & Geriatrics, Kwong Wah Hospital, 25 Waterloo Road, Yau Ma Tei”. Participants are required to provide their full name, contact number and email address when submitting the logos either by e-mail or post. Final results will be announced on 30 September 2015 (Wed) on http://www.hkresp.com. HKLF & HKTS reserve all rights to make necessary changes to the champion logo for future usage in the anniversary celebration activities.
The judging criteria includes (i) Visual and aesthetic quality; (ii) Spirit conveyed; (iii) Innovation and (iv) Originality. The judging panel includes Chairman and Presidents of the three Respiratory Societies namely Dr. Cheuk-yin Tam, Dr. Loletta So, Dr. David Lam, and Dr. Joseph Pang and Dr. Shun Yang So.
There will be 4 prizes for the competition, and they will be presented at the Anniversary Celebration Dinner in 2016.

l Runners-up (up to 2 prizes): HKD 1,000 cash coupon each
l Most Innovative Award: HKD 1,000 cash coupon
